If you happen to be going on your first bike ride with Jesse, be prepared for the smack talk to flow like Niagara Falls.  He's the most competitive sport racer you will come across, and his goal in life is to beat Danny but it has yet to be accomplished and may never happen.   That's just reality, no need to mix words here.  But rest assured, Jesse has been on a mission to lose weight and get stronger, and the results are showing.  Jess has dropped 30 plus pounds since December, and just scored a 4th place finish in Cat II at the Barking Spider, the areas first XC race of the season.  The guy is motivated.

So if you're still reading, you should also know Jesse is a natural as a bike mechanic and can handle most any task you throw his way.  He shines at bleeding disc brakes, overhauling suspension, and dialing any shifting system to work buttery smooth.
